Tell us about yourself
Hi! My name is Beth Bush, owner of GetFit With Beth, LLC (GFWB). I started my little Fitness company during the Pandemic in the summer of 2020. When I first started out, GFWB was 100% a mobile personal fitness business. I came to clients' garages and driveways and set up a "gym." Since starting, I've opened my own personal fitness studio in East Memphis and have gone from mobile to the studio. I still see a few clients on the road, and I book Bridal shower workouts, Birthday workouts, and Group workouts on the weekends. I am a certified personal trainer through NASM. I specialize in strength and endurance training. I have built my small business into something special. My workout sessions have brought tons of people together over the last 3 years. I am motivated by changing people's lives through strength training. It's amazing to see the changes in my clients.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment was opening my boutique fitness studio.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest thing for me, being a business owner, is that I'm the only employee. Haha! I do it all! Programming workouts, scheduling, finances, bills, and maintenance & cleaning.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
