What's your business, and who are your customers?
Gemivision was created to align and empower one’s mind, body, and spirit. For those who are looking to transform, change, and transmute old patterns, thoughts, beliefs, trauma, etc., we develop a unique way to help guide people to remind them who they are so that they can live in their true personality and true purpose. My clients come from all places and types, including those who have suffered from trauma to the people who just want to learn how to have a more balanced lifestyle incorporating breath work, meditation, and more.
Tell us about yourself
After studying psychology, I realized there was so much more to this life than just that. There’s so much depth to an individual than just their mind and their system of nature vs. nurture. Science and “spirituality” all tie hand in hand. Realizing that we are all talking about the same source, different usage of words. Through my own inner journey, much of my work and practices are also things I’ve personally experienced and gone through.
My mission is to attract clients who are ready to transform. We all have a past and a story and gifts and talents that need to be opened up and explored. No matter the challenges, I am very humbled to have the experience to help others move past theirs. It motivates me to see people inspired and change through our connection. Being a guide for others motivates me to see the growth and expansion we can all have as we do the “inner work.” Sometimes, we need people to put us in that state to believe in ourselves or have someone remind us who we are. Once we tap into the true self, we can do anything.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have also started a growing community called Vegan Holistic, which is not only for Vegans but invites local holistic/plant-based food vendors to share their offerings with the community. It has been a year since this event, and it has been nominated as one of the best pop-ups in San Diego. This brand's beauty is connecting other like-minded souls and spirits together while having performers of arts, speakers, and so much more.
As for Gemivision, it just touches my heart to hear clients tell me how much their lives have changed working together. And for that, I feel accomplished.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Having to do so much “on my own.” Sometimes it’s hard to explain the vision that was/is given to me. Balancing an entrepreneurial life along with branding and seeing clients can take so much time in itself that I may catch myself not giving myself back energy. Ultimately, this is all worth it at the same time because it’s challenged me to be a greater guide for others as well.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Take your time exploring what you truly have a passion for, knowing you WON’T quit, even if it’s tough.
- Have the right people around you, the right staff/team, everything must align to support you and pour into you, people around believing in you isn’t the end all be all, but it helps push you as you go on your new journey.
- Persistence and patience. These words are so important because if we do not have this, it is very easy to quit and give up.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I want to remind all of you that you are here for a greater purpose. If you feel stagnant or anxious about where you are, the “inside” is reminding you to look more within yourself. Do not ignore these emotions; instead, embrace them and thank them for showing up. Your true self only wants what’s best for them.
