What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a Sports Nutrition Brand that sells supplements to the Fitness Conscious individual.

Tell us about yourself

I am a former Professional bodybuilder who, after I retired, started Gaspari Nutrition back in 1998 to develop better supplements for other bodybuilders who wanted the best supplements to be the best.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment was Brand of the Year two years in a Row for GNC, with over 4,000 stores at the time.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing is to be constantly innovative in the industry and continue to develop new products and marketing ideas to keep the company fresh.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. A business is its own entity. Like a fruit tree, you have to grow first before you can take fruit.
  2. Watch your bottom line profits always and figure out ways to increase profits but still make a quality product.
  3. hire the right people that will work to accomplish your goal of growth in the company.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

You need to constantly reinvent yourself in business and always evolve in what you do to keep the business exciting and growing.
