What's your business, and who are your customers?
We provide futures-as-a-service to companies and organizations to help them navigate the unknown. We specialize in moonshots beyond today's horizon, with knowledge in deep tech industries.
Tell us about yourself
I am a serial entrepreneur with a background in science as well as in design, with interest in strategic thinking. I think my broad background in my training with my multi-cultural upbringing (Hong Kong / US / Spain) gave me an opportunity to apply my skill set as a connector between ideas, a maker of futures, and a proactive strategist, applying design with the rigor of science and science with the creativity of a designer. What motivates me most is that I know I have the capacity to build the future of tomorrow.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is that I get to work with some of the most amazing people on this planet! All of my ventures are where they are today because these people made them happen. From Albert Tisaire of Makers of Barcelona to Laura Fernandez of all women and Mark Bunger of Futurity Systems, and many, many, many others that made these ventures flourish, these people are the core of everything I started, but they grew.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The highs are very high, and the lows are very low. The highlights and struggles are amplified when you are a business owner, including the stress, the excitement, the fears, and the dreams.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Start small, move fast, and think big.
- Doing (not thinking) is always the best way of learning.
