What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is Full of Joy Life Coaching LLC. I am a certified life coach specializing in helping women build healthy relationships, work on their mindset, discover their purpose, pursue their life goals and lead joyful and successful lives.

Tell us about yourself

There was a calling in my life, but I did not know what it was. So, I went in search of my life's purpose. That is when I learned about life coaching. I did research on it, what it was and how it helps others, and I fell in love! The number one goal in my coaching business is to provide exceptional service to my clients, so I enrolled in a life coaching certification course. I also do different training and attend conferences to stay up to date on all coaching techniques and other vital information needed to run a successful business.

Being of service to others is what motivates me each day. In my business, I help women overcome fears and obstacles and live happy and peaceful life. Seeing my clients succeed brings me joy.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

One of my biggest accomplishments is writing and publishing my first book, Lessons Learned From Dating. It was a challenge sharing my dating history and the pain that came with it, but as a relationship coach, my book has helped a lot of women learn from, deal with and heal from their past situations. I am currently creating a guided journal to go with the book to further help with relationship healing.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

For me Work- life balance is the most challenging aspect as a business owner. I am committed to my business and to seeing my clients succeed, but I am missing quality time with my family and friends, and I am also neglecting my self-care. This year I created a schedule to help balance my life better. My schedule includes spending time with my family and friends. It also includes working on myself physically, mentally, and spiritually. This way, I won't burn out, and I can provide exceptional service to my clients.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start- Do it scared. There will never be a right time, so just start.
  2. Hire a good Business Coach- they will hold you accountable and encourage you to start and grow your business.
  3. Don't give up. Every day won't be perfect, but hold on, and it will get better. Stay Positive!
