What's your business, and who are your customers?
Foto Vibe is an event planning and styling company. We create curated event decor for any corporate or personal event, holiday, or installation. Clients are anyone celebrating a special moment, occasion, work function, sales meeting, gala, birthday, anniversary, wedding, shower, etc.
Tell us about yourself
I love setting the VIBE for any event. It's so exciting to me to help people celebrate- there are always smiles, laughter, and contagious energy during these special moments. I was in the corporate world for most of my career, and focusing on this aspect of events and decor is such a highlight for me. I love that each job is different, and every element brings joy to clients.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is knowing I am my own boss. I am able to support myself and my children. And to see the business continue to grow and expand.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Finding a balance between work and family life. Learning to let go and hand off to your team. Trust the process.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do your research on how your field or industry operates.
- Reach out to other owners in a respectful way to inquire about standard practices.
- Continue each day to take steps forward. Sometimes you will run, sometimes a slow walk, but I find that movement will continue to propel you forward.
