What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our mission is to unleash every kid's potential to be a flourishing human being. We work to address learning difficulties for kids (from 5yrs to 12yrs). We also work with children (from 12yrs to 15 yrs) to improve their learning skills, retention, and productivity. Our customers are parents of children from 5-15 years.
Tell us about yourself
I am Dr. V.S. Gayathri, founder of Flourishing Kids. I am a trained educational therapist. I am a dentist by education, but I found my calling in educational therapy and working with kids. My passion for psychology and love for kids got me over here. My primary motivation comes from the sparkle in the kid's eyes when they understand and learn.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have worked with 50+ students (from India, Singapore, Australia, UAE, and Oman) in the past three years with great success.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest thing is to develop products to reach everyone.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Target the correct niche.
- Develop products for both groups and individualised needs.
- Listen to the customer.
