What's your business, and who are your customers?

At Flawless by Somalia, we serve! I’m a licensed Esthetician and professional Makeup Artist, so I provide necessary yet luxury services. Helping women look good and feel good is what I strive to do!

Tell us about yourself

I’ve always wanted to own my own business, so doing what I love was a must. I love to serve, so helping other women look and feel their best is an absolute pleasure!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Not giving up! Entrepreneurship is not for the weak. Every day, no matter what you feel like nor what things may look like, you have to keep going!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

As a creative person, one of the hardest things is the administrative work that comes along with your business. Honestly, it’s that tedious part that you don’t really feel like doing but has to be done in order to really run a business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Get started! Whatever that may look like, just go!
  2. Understand that, as you go and grow, your business will always be changing. It’s totally ok to make any needed updates as you see fit.
  3. Keep people around you that are smarter than you!

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I just want to encourage anyone who’s reading this to stay focused and keep pushing! Nobody promised it would ever be easy; however, it’s definitely worth it!
