Flaming Candle Co. is your number one source for candle-making supplies. We're dedicated to giving you the very best Organic and all Natural candle supplies with a focus on local Beeswax, Essential oils, and Organic Wicks.
Flaming Candle Co. was founded in Saskatoon in 2020. When I first started out, the passion for hand-crafted candles drove him to do tons of research so that Flaming Candle Co. could offer you the highest quality organic and all-natural candle supplies. We now serve customers all over Canada and the United States.
Tell us about yourself
What got me started was I received a candle-making kit as a gift during the start of the pandemic. When I made the kit and the candles turned out perfect, I realized I could do a business out of this. I researched candle-making for about a year. I then started getting local beeswax from a friend's family bee farm. I went from making the candles to becoming a supplier of all-natural and organic candle supplies.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I would have to say my most significant accomplishment as a business owner was that I never gave up. I pushed through some of the hardest things in my life and kept pursuing my dreams and giving my customers the need to make a safe, clean-burning candle.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The aspects of being a small business owner include weathering economic storms, finding new customers, cultivating existing clients, and staying up to date with technology.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
My top 3 tips I would give from my experience are that you need to stay organized, prepare to make some sacrifices, and provide 5-star customer service.
