Tell us about yourself
Hair has always been a passion of mine since a young age. I started my business so I could do what I love and help enhance the natural beauty of many women. I believe well-kept hair gives people a boost of confidence, and so my goal is to not only enhance the natural beauty of my clients but also help boost their confidence. Knowing that I play a part in making my clients feel beautiful and confident and seeing the smile on their faces when they look in the mirror and see the final results is what motivates me.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to establish a loyal clientele that supports me in what I do and building a culture of diversity.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Staying motivated and not being discouraged on the days that you are not able to please everyone.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a clear vision and plan of what you want to do and achieve. However, know that it is okay to change a few things along the way as you learn and grow.
- Run your own race and have a "Me vs. Me" mentality. Remember, you are unique so stay true to who you are.
- Enjoy the journey, and don't be too hard on yourself. You'll make mistakes along the way, but that's all part of the entrepreneurship journey.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
