What's your business, and who are your customers?
Fizikly Fit Training offers semi-private personal training. Semi-private training means members have a personalized training program that is performed in our private training studio. One to five members may be present while training. Fizikly Fit's members are busy women who want to get fit--our programs are designed for busy women who want to feel more energized and less stressed.
Tell us about yourself
I have been an avid exerciser for most of my life. I love showing women that being strong makes everything in life easier! As our members get stronger, they develop self-confidence that they take with them into the world. It inspires me every day to keep doing what I love to do.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I am amazed at the community--I call it our Fizikly Fit Family--that has been created in our training studio. Fizikly Fitters have supported each other through the highs and lows of life and support each other unconditionally through the good, the bad, and the everyday challenges we face as women, wives, mothers, sisters, and grandmothers.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I struggle most with the behind-the-scenes aspects of training--I am a one-woman business, so I wear all the hats! I am the CEO, accountant, marketing, customer service, and custodian, so there's ALWAYS something that needs my attention.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Choose to do something you love--you will spend a lot of time working in and on your business.
- Set a schedule and stick to it--your personal time is vital to keeping balance in your life, don't give it up!
- Don't be afraid to seek out people that know more than you do and ask for help.
