What's your business, and who are your customers?

Online yoga, meditation, and fitness platform focused on helping people connect to their bodies beyond just the physical results. Connecting to yoga, fitness, and meditation to help feel good about themselves from the inside out.

Tell us about yourself

I have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years now. I was quickly inspired by how it made me feel from the inside. It gave me the confidence I didn't have before and helped me really learn to love myself. Throughout the years, my career journey has been guided by feeling. Along the fitness path, I got into yoga and loved how it made me feel and how it made what seemed impossible becomes possible.

In 2008 I did my first yoga teacher training and had been teaching and learning ever since. Throughout the years, I have also been led to study Thai massage, Hypnosis, breathwork, and meditation. I am somebody who will always follow his passion, and through that, I know I will always be expanding, learning, and growing. These are all things I will continue to keep sharing along the way.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Staying true to my heart and following my passions. I have a lot to share with the world, and I am just proud that I keep sharing it. I've put a lot of time and energy into sharing my love of fitness and yoga, and I love hearing how it's helped so many people along the way.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

A big part of me just wants to teach and share what I love. All the "behind the scenes" work of advertising, website design, and video editing isn't something I love like I love teaching. I will admit that I have learned so much along the way and what used to take me hours to do now can be done in a fraction of the time, so I am proud of that growth.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do what you love. If you're not passionate about what you are putting out there, it will show, and it will also pull you down.
  2. Ask for help. Find somebody in your field that is doing what you want to do and try to book them for a consulting call. I've spent so much time in the past trying to figure out things on my own. Yeah, I have learned a lot in the process, but having a mentor would have made things so much easier.
  3. Don't wait till everything is perfect to get going. Get started now. Share now. The more you put yourself out there, the better you will get at putting yourself out there. Your business will grow, develop and change over time, and that's a beautiful thing.
