What's your business, and who are your customers?
I make Human Lighthouses by providing training and coaching solutions both from the Scientific and Spiritual domains. A lighthouse is grounded, standing tall and shining their light for all to feel safe and dispelling the darkness. Human lighthouses learn the tools to heal themselves, connect to their vision and ambition and discover their purpose and happiness. This may look like those wanting to dive into spiritual development, learning Reiki, Universal Laws, and the powers of manifestation or learning tools that clear the obstacles getting in your way of growth in your career, relationships, and goals.
I empower women and have a soft spot for teens. I mentor them to step into their confidence, trust their intuition, and self-realizing who they are. Life is magical, and we have the power to manifest and generate our own peace, happiness, and prosperity. It's not about doing or knowing more but about Being Yourself authentically with integrity. Tell us about yourself
As a BioMedical Electrical Engineer, I was a professional troubleshooter. I was also a seeker, looking for solutions to problems. I found that most everyone goes through a "wake up" call, and that's the moment of reckoning. For me, this happened about 18 years ago, and a string of Shamans, MasterTeachers, and the decision to become a Life Coach and ReikiMaster Teacher have fit my soul's calling like a glove. Either you continue to live as a victim of your circumstances, or you choose to remember who you really are, let go of the narratives you have been living with and decide to author a new narrative.
It fulfills me to see people step into self-love, forgiveness, and passion for life. To see my clients light up with self-discovery and self-empowerment is how I believe I can make an impact in the world...one soul awakening at a time. When you remember metaphorically speaking (or not) that "You are the Light," you don't fear the darkness. Literally speaking, you can choose to stand in your power, choose from the context of love, or live in self-doubt and fear (False Evidence Appearing Real).
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I feel accomplished with every client that steps into their power and vision. They become a valued friend and part of my community. Either another healer, another successful entrepreneur making a difference in the world by spreading love and light, or a teen connecting to their vision and operating from love and power.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I'm mostly a one-woman operator. I don't enjoy many of the tasks that have to do with operations. I would love to just be able to focus on my workshops, classes, and clients.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be patient with yourself.
- Be open to opportunities that may not look like what you expected.
- Do it because you love it, not because you'll make money.
