What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are one of Canada's largest food rescue systems in place that has created the “pay what you can” or free restaurants and grocery stores. Diverting millions of pounds of edible food from the landfills and putting it back onto the tables of millions.

Tell us about yourself

Being a Philanthropic Chef Jagger Gordon is the copious amounts of food being wasted and found new ways to divert it from landfills to put it back onto the tables of people living with food insecurities across the world. Waking up every day I am driven by the excitement to know that I can feed thousands of hungry bellies.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being able to educate and co-create new dynamic platforms that assist millions of people that are living with food insecurities. And finding ways to make nonprofits sustainable through community and my social enterprise.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

As a federal non-for-profit and having 11 companies run by 2200 registered volunteers my hardest obstacle has been to ask for funding.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Take the leap and chance with your idea. Never underestimate another by restricting yourself to co-creating your dream. All my failures have been my successes.

Anything else you'd like to share?

Our future depends on our youth. We should never allow our youth to go hungry at night so I found the new digital way in eliminating food waste and feeding anyone in your community for free utilizing our Free food sharing up at Feed It Forward.ca.
