What's your business, and who are your customers?

Feast By The Beach - I am a Private Chef providing families a wonderful dining experience without them having to leave the comfort of their beautiful vacation beach homes.

Tell us about yourself

I started in the hospitality business back when I was 18 years old. As far as starting the business, I realized that there was a tourist section in VA Beach with tons of rental homes but not a lot of selections for dinner. From there, Feast By The Beach began.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Getting through the adversity of the pandemic.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

There is always something you can be doing for your business. But, you have to remember to put your physical and mental health first, so it doesn't lead to burnout.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Research your idea.
  2. Make sure there is a need for what you would like to offer.
  3. Believe in your idea.
