Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in coaching but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Fari Gonzaque, Founder of Fari Transformation, located in Marina del Rey, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is a holistic health and wellness transformation for 40+-year-olds who are seeking to gain clarity, self-worth, and self-love. Through mentorship, fitness, and mindset training, I help my clients transform their challenges into gifts to restore their sense of self, live healthier, happier lives, and unlock their true potential.

Tell us about yourself

Prior to becoming a transformational life coach, I was a fitness trainer for 30 years. Fitness and health have always been my savior in the many physical and emotional challenges I have faced over the years - fibromyalgia, severe depression, disabling car accidents, and other traumas that I was able to survive through exercise, martial arts, yoga, meditation, and keeping a healthy mindset. The obstacles I have overcome have brought me to where I am today and have made me uniquely well-suited to a path of guidance, as I have been to these dark places and know how beautiful life is on the other side and how to get there.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment has been all the clients I have seen prosper over their misery and follow the light at the tunnel all the way to the end - to fix their eating, their negative thoughts, their self-destructive habits, and not go down the path that I went through when I was at my worst. Nothing brings greater satisfaction.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

As a business owner with ADHD and dyslexia, technology has been the greatest challenge in running my business. I have always had to have a tech assistant.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You have to love being of service.
  2. Always be available to your clients.
  3. You must be a good listener and have some empathy.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I love to love, I love to give, and I love to lift up and serve. I love to make your heart smile.
