What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help businesses to grow by generating leads and sales through digital advertising (mainly Google Ads and Meta Ads). My clients are professionals and companies who want to make their products and services known and maximise the effectiveness of their advertising budget.

Tell us about yourself

I started my business in 2016; I wanted to work for myself to have the freedom to work remotely. That kind of work didn’t exist at that time. I was obligated to go to the office every day, wasting a lot of time stacked in the traffic. Doing this world, I realized how much I could improve other’s businesses and, consequently, other’s life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I started from zero, having no clients or being known in the market. My biggest accomplishment today is creating a team of good people and collaborators; today, my brand is not only me but all of our team. Being able to delegate and create processes is very rewarding, and I’m proud of it.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

I think that one of the hardest things as a business owner is to maintain focus and motivation constantly. I’m still working on it because owning a business is literally like being on a roller coaster. One day you receive the worst news ever, and the day after, you receive the best one. You just need to be aware of this and not be overwhelmed.

Also, owning a business means interacting daily with many different people: clients, collaborators, accountants, and suppliers. It is necessary to have good soft skills in order to speak and give the right responses to everyone.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Your online presence and reputation are as important as your offline presence and reputation. Take care of it.
  2. Are you feeling down some days? Perfect, you’re on the right way. Nobody has ever reached big goals without sacrifice and sad moments.
  3. Learn to listen to the people. They could say exactly what they want, and you just need to give it to them.
