Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and fitness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Jessica Waysome, Founder of F.L.Y Infinite Coaching, located in Wharton, NJ, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My audience is women and young women. My business is about empowering women to tap into loving their authentic selves and being comfortable with their DNA, all while being unapologetically transparent.

Tell us about yourself

Well, my name is Jessica, but I go by Ms.Jaye, soon-to-be Mrs. Jaye! I am a self-love coach, neuro-linguistic practitioner, and fitness enthusiast! my passion for coaching women stems from my lack of women's support when I was younger. When I was younger, I used to be bullied and felt less than. I had a mother, but I did not have someone to reinforce my beauty is my build-up from the highest; if I am being made fun of, it is simply because they see something in me they lack, and they have their own problems they have to deal with it had nothing to do with me. As time progressed and I grew older, I developed a dislike for women, NOT knowing it was the low self-esteem, confidence, and childhood trauma that was making me THINK I disliked women. When in actuality, it was my lack of knowledge and growth. One day something within me woke up and said, you can not go on in life like this, disliking women(really myself). I made the decision to take that energy of anger, pain, hatred, and lack off and turn it into love, empowerment, inspiration, and coaching. My goal is to coach upcoming queens that they have a friend in me who believes in them and sees them for who they are, and for my already seasoned queens, I want to aspire ad inspire them to tap into their authentic selves. It is the richest form of happiness they'll ever feel.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Great question!! My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is really the longevity of relationships my clients and I develop after or even during our sessions. It lets me know I provided them a safe space to come whenever, however!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing that comes with a business owner is that you HAVE to show up every day even when hitting snooze and going incognito seems AMAZING! Me, showing up is NOT only for me but for the many people who look up to me and the ones I was given the blessed opportunity to coach on a day-to-day basis.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Please be Authentic and transparent!! People are gravitating more toward "Real ones."
  2. Show up constantly; ESPECIALLY on the days you do not want to.
  3. Stay true to your truth!! Many people will be doing what you are doing, but they will never do it as Ms.Jaye does it.
  4. Sorry, one more thing, the most importantly " ENJOY IT AND HAVE FUN" doing what you love should never be a burden!!

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

We all have different DNAs and fingerprints for a reason; let's capitalize on that and be authentic and transparent very unapologetically because you are being your true self, and that is all I ever want for my rising queens and current queens to acknowledge the power in being our TRUE selves.
