Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in food and beverage but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Aashish Pyakurel, Owner and CEO of Express Masu Chiura, located in Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is about selling food through Cloud Kitchen. All the food consumers are my customers.

Tell us about yourself

As I work for a foreign company, our work timing is different from others where we need to work in night shift. I observed that customers were not able to order food online after 9 PM in the evening time. I thought that there should be certain services for the people who work different shifts. I am motivated to provide a service where we can provide every order within 30 minutes of the order.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Employment, beating sales targets, improvement in employee performance, brand reputation, and profit.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Lack of financial budget, unexpected errors, and situations, high level of competition, supplier management, calculation regarding profit in dishes, and labor management.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Regularity.
  2. Dedication.
  3. Hard work and creativity.
