Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in finance but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Paul Jervey, Founder of Exonomics, located in Wilmington, DE, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Exonomics provides the liberation needed to exit Financial Bondage and enter the Financial Promised Land, teaching via an online platform the 3M approach to mastering your money life.

• Mindset: Why do some people make the money others want?
• Mechanics: How do you eradicate the word "broke" from your life and bloodline?
• Management: What are the essential keys needed to open the doors to more?

Our customers are motivated individuals who believe in God, want to make a change with their money at their own pace, and want to learn what the Bible says about money. There are over 500 scriptures on faith, over 500 on prayer, but over 2000 on money and possessions. No one has gone this deep, and it hasn't been presented by a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.

Tell us about yourself.

I have been in the financial services industry for over 18 years. I have been a believer in God all my life. My grandfather was a bishop. During that time, I have seen and heard money taught in church, and most of it was incorrect. I eventually had to detox from bad doctrine.

I felt God wanted me to create this course to have an impact on as many people's finances as I could. My challenge was that I could not service all the people he showed me in my financial planning practice. He demonstrated to me how to overcome that challenge and how to make a significant impact, and that's how Exonomics was birthed.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Knowing that the reason some people are successful financially is that I have been able to help them.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Leading and managing others.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Take the step.
  2. With God's help, you can walk on water.
  3. Stay consistent and be integral.
