Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in education but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Aja McNair, Owner of Everything Aja LLC., located in Atlanta, GA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help elementary teachers and homeschool parents teach their struggling readers without ever feeling teacher burnout.

Tell us about yourself

As an elementary curriculum specialist, I was always approached by teachers and parents about how I was able to close the learning gaps in children. This led me to create a YouTube channel that provided teachers and parents with tons of reading resources and a signature teaching program.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has been helping my clients. I absolutely love making a difference in the lives of others.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things to deal with as a business owner is marketing. I want to make a bigger impact, but I have limited reach. I aim to find more overwhelmed teachers and parents who are ready to make a change yet they still value high-quality instruction.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

I would tell any new entrepreneurs to trust their God-given abilities, stay focused on the long-term goal, and enjoy the journey of entrepreneurship.
