What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our business is a two-person crew consisting of Regan, marketing and co-owner, and me, the chef. We provide private chef services along with catering for larger groups, grocery delivery, special occasion set up, and concierge services. Most of our customers come to the mountain area to get away from their homes for a smaller pace of life. We also cater to the locals for when they just want a special day for themselves.
Tell us about yourself
We first started this business when Covid first happened. We were working for a resort and, unfortunately, were laid off, and that inspired us to start our own business, and we have been thriving ever since. We have two kids that we really want to be able to give the world to. They motivate us every day to be better and really push us to do our best.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The biggest accomplishment would be getting to cook for Sarah Shahi and Adam Demos from the series Sex/Life on Netflix.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing for us would have to be the constant rising prices. When we first opened, we wanted to be able to offer affordable catering to everyone, and trying to stay in that range and keep with our quality has been difficult to accomplish.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Number one, don’t give up! Be consistent. Always believe in yourself even when the days seem hard; just take a breath and keep pushing.
