What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is called EV Nutrition, and I work with clients who are frustrated with hormonal imbalances, unwanted weight gain, fatigue, and digestive distress to implement highly personalized plans based on their own unique genetic blueprints. I believe that a customized diet, lifestyle, and supplementation can make a real change in a person's health!
Tell us about yourself
I am a Certified Nutrition Therapy Practitioner as well as a Functional Medicine educator and consultant. I have experienced firsthand how changing my diet, and lifestyle allowed me to experience a sense of wellness and vitality I had never felt before.
I was no longer bloated, tired, and unable to sleep, and as I started talking to friends about the changes I had made, they began to utilize my services. Watching people alleviate symptoms and feel and look better is what motivates me every day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Seeing my clients physically look and feel better is honestly my biggest accomplishment and my goal for all of my clients.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
My most difficult challenge is keeping up with social media marketing and the changing atmosphere that surrounds it. I feel like I'm always running in circles when it comes to keeping up with current online trends etc.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do something you love and could spend all day every day doing!
- Do research on your target audience, and don't try to be everything for everyone!
- Even if you hire out for web design, online marketing, etc., have a basic working knowledge of it all so that there is a common platform on which to communicate.
