Tell us about yourself

Since a very young age, I have been passionate about foreign languages and cultures, and I have decided to create ET Traductions language agency in 2018 to assist individuals and companies with their language needs. Due to my numerous travels and life experiences abroad in Europe, Africa, and even Latin America, in addition to my ten years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry for large hotel groups marketing 4_star and 5_star, I wish to reconcile my passion for the international and my natural ability to help others through entrepreneurship. ET Traductions was designed to meet the linguistic needs of everyone, as I have done throughout my entire life in France and abroad. As a graduate of Paris School of Business, a renowned business school with a Master's degree in International Business, the world is my field of activity.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Well, I could say having translated the France application fully for the Youth Olympic Games in 2022, but I also want to highlight a special mission done recently. Interpreting for National and European elected officials at the European Housing Forum 2021 conference at the Paris City Hall (for the Deputy Mayor of Paris: Ian Brosssat). Plenty of amazing projects done as a business owner, reinforcing your confidence to do always more and go further!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Managing uncertainty. As a life cycle, being a business owner implies dealing with many projects simultaneously and sometimes nones at all! Being able to organize and anticipate in the long run and manage stressful situations are not always easy to do. Nevertheless, taking the risk worth the effort! It offers self-accomplishment and also freedom. I won't leave this position for anything else!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Trust yourself! Be confident; you got talent! Success starts with personal development, and a successful business always lies in your ability to manage your emotions. Take care of your state of mind, and everything will be okay!
  2. Don't think too much and do it! We tend to plan and anticipate situations too much, and sometimes we don't launch anything at the end. As a perfectionist, I can tell you about it. First results will comfort you to carry on. You can refine it later; let's start with something! Always do your best!
  3. I will advise you to dare! Don't wait for the approval of anyone; people tend to project on you their fear, and it will slow you down. Put your energy into something you like, and you will never feel like you are working! Are you happy with what you currently do? If not, you have to change something!

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Few quotes to keep in mind:
"Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life." - Confucius.
"Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." - Theodore Roosevelt.
"There are no limits on what you can achieve with your life, except the limits you accept in your mind." - Brian Tracy

Happy business to everyone.
