What's your business, and who are your customers?

I provide nutrition counseling to health enthusiasts looking to improve their health.

Tell us about yourself

I became interested in this field as a teenager, as I was intrigued by the connection between foods, metabolism, and body weight.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My greatest accomplishment is that I have built a private practice that partners with other practitioners to provide affordable and accessible healthcare.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

As a small business owner, I had to learn to wear different hats and be solely responsible for the success of my business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do your research beforehand - find out the requirements, regulations, resources, and time commitment necessary to ensure your success.
  2. Find support - from other business owners, professional organizations, trade schools, etc.
  3. Believe in yourself - trust in your dreams and your ability to make your dreams come true.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Education and training are great tools to grow yourself. So, never neglect your personal growth in favor of business growth or strategies.
