What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a Pet Boutique in Petawawa. We are a Veteran, and Military spouses owned. We believe in supporting other veteran and locally owned businesses.

Tell us about yourself

I first started in this business to help pet owners understand pet nutrition and help them navigate the pet industry.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Exceeding all our first-year projections, and because of this, we were able to give all our staff living wage instead of minimum wage.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Splitting time between the business and home.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do your market research.
  2. Hire an accountant.
  3. Have a marketing budget.
