Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in coaching but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Emily Dayane Groth, Founder of Emily Dayane Self-love Coach & Healer, located in Montreal, QC, Canada.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I support women to reconnect with their divinity, with their crystal heart, and I guide them to have a loving relationship with themselves. In my sessions, I use Theta Healing to remove old beliefs and traumas that hold them from connecting with her crystal heart and self-love techniques to develop this loving relationship with themselves. I work with women that are tired of living a life of pleasing other and wants to connect with their intuition to create their dream life.

Tell us about yourself

For most of my life, I was making decisions trying to please others, and let me tell you, that didn't work well for me. I studied law and became a lawyer, but I wasn't happy; I moved to Canada because I got married and worked as a Real Estate Agent, and I wasn't fulfilled. When I started listening to my intuition, I quit the real estate business and became a yoga teacher. It is a privilege to help people connect with their bodies by teaching yoga; I love doing that. The coaching and Theta Healing came into my life after I made a very difficult decision of breaking up with the father of my two children; during the grieving part, it was so important to love myself and to be connected with my heart and to make decisions from that place. When I remember all the pain that I had gone through, it was clear to me that my mission is to help other women to reconnect with their selves.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is to see my client thrive; it is beautiful to know that they are living a fulfilled and happy life.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

For me, the hardest thing is marketing; exposing myself is a challenge that I am working with my coach to overcome.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. If this business is your heart's desire, have faith, believe in yourself because you can do this, and believe in the divine that is here to support you.
  2. Don't listen to the naysayers because most probably they are not connected to their own hearts;
  3. Get organized and start taking action towards your dream.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?
