What's your business, and who are your customers?
Embodied Spirit Coaching combines life and health coaching with spiritual direction and personal training for a truly mind/body/spirit growth experience. My customers are ready to level up from convention coaching. Before coming to me, they plateaued. They became dissatisfied with the ways in which they have been asked to become fragmented--for instance, by concentrating on spirituality without an eye to making any personal changes or focusing on health without incorporating movement into their daily routine.
Tell us about yourself
I'm the Senior Minister of Third Congregational Church in Middletown, CT, and I am also an embodiment coach. I got into coaching after witnessing the sad decline of one of my parishioners. He got a great deal out of pastoral counseling, but without constant accountability for making life changes, he seemed to shrivel up. Starting Embodied Spirit Coaching is my way of making sure I make an even bigger difference in the lives of my clients who might be seeking one thing from me... but might benefit greatly from addressing their overall well-being.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment has been being sought out as a mentor by two up-and-coming helpers. Getting to shape the next generation of helpers is truly gratifying.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
