What's your business, and who are your customers?
My online business helps wantrepreneur grow an audience and monetize it through content marketing on Instagram.
Tell us about yourself
I started my business during my unemployment due to the recession back in May 2020. What started as simply sharing some knowledge on Instagram ended up growing into a successful online coaching business making $5,000 monthly in less than two months. I love being able to help others transform their knowledge into really successful online businesses.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Oh, that's a difficult one! In the early days: reaching $10,000 months within five months of starting my business. More recently: hitting over a million dollars in profit and reaching over 100,000 followers on Instagram.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Being self-motivated, nobody will do it for you. It really is up to you to make it happen and stay disciplined to keep going. This is why I tell my clients to focus on celebrating even the smallest wins along the way, so they stay excited about the journey.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Grow an audience NOW (the earlier, the better - the longer you wait, the harder it will be).
- Work on your mindset (it's the biggest thing holding you back, leave your limiting beliefs at the door, and just go for it! It will never be the perfect timing... you will never be ready.
- Get help when you get stuck. You don't need to do it all by yourself! Get connected with like-minded entrepreneurs and exchange knowledge, buy courses, get a coach - whatever works for you. But just keep in mind that you are not alone, and getting help early will win you so much time + money in the long run.
