Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Lexi Soulios, Founder of Eleusis International, LLC., located in Clyde, NC, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a holistic therapist and growth strategist who helps leaders and visionaries clear old patterns so they can reach their next-level business, relationship, and life goals.

Tell us about yourself

For the last 25 years, I've dedicated my life to the art and science of transformation. At first, it was to heal and recover from my own traumas and dysfunctional patterns. But that quickly led to a voracious interest in studying and learning what truly enables a human being to make lasting changes – without having to rely on willpower alone.

Over decades of intensive study and working with thousands of clients and students, I've been able to help people transcend anxiety, career ceilings, unhealthy relationship patterns, health challenges, addictions, and more. Assisting people to feel free and embody their full potential is super motivating and joyful for me.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is forging my own path. When I started this work, there were no models to follow. Working remotely wasn't yet a thing. I figured out how to use my therapeutic and coaching methods over the phone and quickly built a community of thousands around the globe.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Being a business owner is not for the faint of heart. You often face failure, rejection, and loneliness. But if you keep going, you also experience huge wins, meet amazing people, and get to feel so proud of your accomplishments and positive impact.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Hire a reasonably-priced business coach with a proven track record of getting their clients great results.
  2. Prioritize income-producing activities over ones that just make your business look pretty on the outside.
  3. Invest in relationships that elevate you and can even potentially refer business your way.
