What's your business, and who are your customers?

At ELANZA, we know that unlocking an exceptional life is just a conversation away. There's no such thing as a 'one-size-fits-all' fertility or family journey, which is why you deserve the best possible support to create YOUR best journey. ELANZA exists to get you there. Private, online sessions with a Board Certified ELANZA Coach offers a safe, accessible space to receive emotional support, helping you make confident choices around family, work, and your future - no matter where they lead.

Tell us about yourself

I am the co-founder and CEO of ELANZA Wellness, a third-time founder, and the co-author of the book "Everything Egg Freezing." My passion for this space began like many other people that have felt neglected by the healthcare system. After being diagnosed with PCOS and undergoing an egg freezing cycle with complications, my co-founder and I felt that there needed to be more support when being faced with massive decisions and challenges that can change the course of your life. At ELANZA, our mission is to fill the care gap, allowing people to create more equitable, intentional, and exceptional lives.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Building a scalable company that aligns with my personal and professional values alongside people that inspire me every day.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Wearing 100 different hats in a day. You have to be able to context switch in a second - think big picture strategy one minute and then dig into the minutiae the next. There is no roadmap, so you have to be able to problem solve using the data points and information you have available at that moment. But also, you have to be flexible when new information becomes available.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Hire amazing people that you truly enjoy working with, and then do whatever you can to enable them to thrive.
  2. Never stop collecting feedback. Whether it's from your customers, your partners, or your employees, there is always more to learn. The more data points you collect, the more you're able to identify clear patterns that allow you to stay ahead of the competition and build a product or service that people truly love.
  3. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Nobody got to where they are without it, and most likely, they're willing to help others along the way.
