What's your business, and who are your customers?

I empower people in their own self-healing process. I teach self-healing techniques and help people to rewire their nervous systems to get free from chronic health issues. My customers are people from all walks of life who suffer from chronic conditions, such as allergies and other hypersensitivity issues, IBS and other chronic digestive issues, as well as chronic pain.

Tell us about yourself

I have been studying mind/body healing techniques since I was a teenager. I have been a licensed acupuncturist since 1987. I have suffered and gotten free from chronic health issues myself, and knowing the power of this work, I want to share it with as many people as possible.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My greatest accomplishment is seeing the joy on people's faces after getting free from health problems they've had for years.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things about being a business owner is learning how to communicate with potential customers so that they really see the value of what I have to offer.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

1. To be so passionate about what you have to offer that you can make it through any set back.
2. To have a a good support system, even if it's just moral support.
3. Related to the second one is to know when you need help and where to find that help.
