What's your business, and who are your customers?
Earth Matterz provides home delivery of organic fruits and vegetables year-round directly from small farmers we know. Our subscribers enjoy healthy food and appreciate the benefits of supporting small farms for themselves and our earth.
Tell us about yourself
The more I learned about farming and made connections with farmers, the more deeply I felt a strong desire to make it my mission to support something that matters so much. It brightens my life to have the best foods, and I feel so lucky to eat produce that contains higher levels of nutrition. I feel the difference, and I love sharing that with people. I love cooking and sharing recipes with vegetables that are not as common. My care for the earth and our farmers keeps me going. They work so hard so that we can be fed well. My gratitude for them is fuel for everything I do.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Continuing to stand by what I believe in and push forward even in the most challenging times.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
You really never know what will happen. To have so much love for something means taking some risks and an everyday belief that all will be well.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Listen to your instincts to guide you each day into what the best decisions are.
- Your health comes first.
- Make taking time in nature a priority.
