What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is about helping entrepreneurs with the resources and training they need to start and monetize a new online business venture. My customers are primarily first-time entrepreneurs who become long-time customers as the training evolves with their businesses.
Tell us about yourself
I'm a first-time entrepreneur who has worked for companies in the online marketing space. I'm documenting my entrepreneurial journey and creating training and information products based on the roadblocks and questions I encountered. I'm motivated each day by the thought of helping people find the support and resources to start their own businesses and then monetize to the point where they can earn enough money to leave their permanent jobs and sustain themselves through their online businesses.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment so far has been making the choice to be an entrepreneur, to bring an idea online, and get my website and blog up and running.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Procrastination, especially when you have other work or projects competing with the time and energy involved with starting a new business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Allocate time in your calendar each day, even if it's only a small block, to work on your business.
- Find support from a coach or accountability partner to encourage and motivate you to put the necessary time in to keep your business moving forward.
- Create micro-commitments that you can easily reach every week so that your business is growing incrementally and you are able to keep up with all the changes.
