Tell us about yourself

Originally from Fort Collins. I started cooking at a young age and have worked in restaurants since I was 14. I loved cake decorating and took those skills to culinary school to study baking and pastries at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Boulder, CO. I fell in love with everything food and have dedicated myself to perfecting my craft and learning constantly. I am motivated by the local ingredients we are able to use here in Denver and how fresh a product that produced.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is meeting new people who have heard of my company before even meeting me. It’s a small business growing fast, and it’s nice to have a good name in the public eye.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The responsibility, everything comes down to you.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Learn how to do taxes. Know how to do everything in your business, even if it’s not your day-to-day responsibility. Have fun!
