What's your business, and who are your customers?
Flavored drink mix powders made with clean ingredients + functional electrolytes, caffeine, vitamins, and probiotics to meet all your hydration needs. Our customers are looking for flavorful water options! They range from former soda addicts to keto/paleo adherents and everyone in between that are looking for low-calorie hydration solutions.
Tell us about yourself
I live in Austin, TX, where I got my first taste of entrepreneurship about ten years ago when I launched my first brand, Sway Water, at the Austin farmer's markets. It's so gratifying bringing a product to market that people really love! Our customers motivate me each and every day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Launching our instant coffee with compostable packaging with a long shelf life!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
There are so many pieces to launching a business besides the product that I was unprepared for initially. An entrepreneur wears many hats, and it can be a bit overwhelming!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Price your product correctly - that will save you a lot of headaches.
- Find a support network.
- Cultivate some patience, as it can be a tough but worthwhile journey!
