Tell us about yourself and your journey to where you are today...

I have been a florist for 15 years, and qualified at Writtle. I launched Flowers At The Mill, after my second daughter was born and during the Covid pandemic.

What motivates you each day?

Providing for my family and creating a more flexible way of living.

What makes your flower business stand out?

We offer a huge selection of dried flowers online, our Dried Flower Bar offers a wide range of flowers online. Plant and Flower subscriptions are also a large part of my business - who doesn't like nice post?

To what would you attribute your entrepreneurial success?

Being skilled and having years of knowledge in the industry. Understanding good service and offering a huge range of product.

What's been your biggest accomplishment to date as a business owner?

I was accepted as a partner on Not On The Highstreet, offering one of the largest ranges of dried flowers on their platform. Also, being fully booked for the wedding season of 2022!

What is the hardest thing that comes with being a business owner?

Focussing on a work/life balance can be hard with little ones at home. Creating a separate space has been important.
