What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help clients see the world differently. When someone sees the world differently, they think differently, show up differently and create a different reality for themselves. A reality they're excited and passionate about. A reality where they can make the impact they were born to make.
Tell us about yourself
Eight years ago, I was a top performer in finance for a Fortune 500 company. In my free time, I traveled the world, volunteered locally and abroad, lived a social life in Los Angeles, and did many other fun things. Despite my success as a finance professional, my trajectory to succeed in the future, and being well-rounded, I felt stuck and unfulfilled. I knew there was something more to life and was yearning to find it.
Given that I was successful and had a lot going on for myself, I realized that checking off boxes by having a great paying job, college degree, living in one of the most beautiful places in the world, traveling, etc., wasn't enough for my soul.
I felt a burning desire to make an impact in the exact way I wanted to make, to serve in a capacity that wasn't obvious when I said yes to transforming my life and to feel free while doing so. At the end of 2014, I said yes to myself even though I couldn't see the whole vision, and my life shifted and became more peaceful, joyful, and fulfilling.
Given that I've been through the transformation and that I'm a student for a life of evolution and growth, I want to help others create what their soul truly desires and make the impact they were born to make. I know that with the right guidance and a burning desire to change your life, you simply can and will. The thing is, it's not easy work, but it's the most rewarding work you'll ever do, and once you start, you never want to go back to how things were in the past.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Turning off the external noise. Doing things in my own unique way, even though social media and the external world feed you information on what you need and should do.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Reminding yourself daily that you're responsible for creating systems and daily routines and getting the right help when things aren't going as expected and when things are going as expected. Realizing that what worked for you to hit one level won't work for you to hit your next level. Each level requires a different you, support, and systems.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Get clear on what exactly you want to do. Have enough cash in the bank to last you for at least six months. Work with a coach to help you understand your limiting beliefs when it comes to success and your money blueprint.
