What's your business, and who are your customers?
At The Happiness Psychiatrist®, we help patients become happier: authentically, deeply, and meaningfully. Founded in 2012, we are a premier California and New York telehealth and wellness practice that provides concierge psychiatry and psychotherapy services to adult patients in California and New York, as well as coaching services to clients of all ages worldwide.
Tell us about yourself
Growing up, I always had the desire to help people - that inclination is probably what sustained me through years and years of medical training! Now as a concierge psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and coach with a small boutique practice, I feel good knowing I'm helping people every day and providing high-quality, holistic care.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Probably running a successful solo practice for over ten years!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
For an introvert like me, I would say marketing, networking, and just putting myself and my practice out there are things I tend to shy away from.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be passionate and very interested in the subject of your business.
- Don't be afraid to invest in yourself and your dreams.
- Don't tie your self-worth to the success of your business. You are worthy right now, just as you are!
