What's your business, and who are your customers?
The Akademie für integrative Ernährung (Academy for integrative nutrition) provides an online educational program for health experts to use the potential of nutrition for better results with their clients. More health and happiness through an individual balanced diet.
Tell us about yourself
As a nutritionist, I have always wanted to help people to eat better. The holistic approach of combining modern western food sciences and traditional Chinese medicine helps people to understand better the needs of their bodies. People who understand their metabolism are more responsible for choosing fresh food, cooking regularly, and buying more local and organic food. Eating more vegetables and eating healthier has three results: better health, more happiness, and more sustainability by choosing different food.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is my method for a quick and simple approach to support people with better food decisions, a holistic coaching system, and especially providing the system to other health professionals. My vision is to make a minimum of 1 Million people healthier, and for that, I teach others what I have learned in more than 20 years and share my method and tools with them.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Permanent growth! Sometimes I am impatient and want too many things at the same time. As I like growing, I am astonished that there are still limiting beliefs that are hard to overcome for the next step.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Sell before your product is perfect. It will never be perfect; sell it to customers and make it better with their feedback. Keep it simple. Love what you do, do what you love.
