Naturopathic Health Consultation serves women who seek a higher level of health and vitality.
Tell us about yourself
My own experience as a patient when I was pregnant led me to believe there was something missing in our healthcare system. I believed then that health was about more than the absence of disease. Thirty years later, as an aging woman, I see the need to teach people how to age well and have a higher level of wellness than they themselves often imagine.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Serving people - I do so in multiple ways to increase my impact and help more individuals. To that end, I have written books and built programs for groups and for self-study, offering a membership in addition to the deeper support I offer with 1-on-1 care.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Wearing so many hats. It requires a focus on working on my business and also working in my business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do what you love, not what you think will work.
- Time map your week to include money-generating activities balanced with infrastructure support/build-out and marketing.
- Start building an audience on social media and converting them into an email list, even if you are not yet set on what your business will look like.
