What's your business, and who are your customers?
Manousso Mediation & Arbitration, LLC: Solution2Conflict trains mediators and arbitrators worldwide. We train attorneys, judges, teachers, medical doctors, human resource and real estate professionals, housewives, etc... for certificates in alternative dispute resolution (ADR). I also mediate and arbitrate civil and family cases.

I have had a progression of successful businesses that have built on opportunities and grown into new expanded opportunities. Manousso Mediation & Arbitration, LLC: Solution2Conflict started in 1993. GOING STRONG!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being recognized by the White House as the RI Small Business Owner in 1971. Asked to speak at many international conferences as the keynote - all expenses paid. Hosting Manousso Musing Podcasts and YouTube platforms by interviewing the Titans of Mediation worldwide. Being recognized by leading professional ADR organizations. Being an entrepreneur for over 63 consecutive years before it was fashionable for women!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being a business owner is not 40 hours a week. Owning a business is a lifestyle with total passion and commitment.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Be ready to work hard and wear many hats. Don't hire anybody that you don't understand the arch of their skills and know how to do their job: Be conversant, but hire the best. Don't listen to the naysayers. If you have a dream, do it and learn as you go. The journey is the prize, so don't work for money. You will fail for not building on passion.
