What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a global hospitality consulting firm that specializes in all things beverage and food for hotels, resorts, restaurants & bars. We operate in 11 countries.
Tell us about yourself
I have been in the business for what feels like a very long time. The connection with the mechanics of delivering high-quality experiences and seeing how people enjoy them got me hooked! I have a real passion for hospitality- a love of connecting, serving, and helping people and a love of all different kinds of food & drink.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My business has grown exponentially each year. My colleagues have been with me for years, and that is quite an accomplishment. Being integral in the universal appeal and the phenomenon of The Cheesecake Factory from the very early days was a huge accomplishment.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The people are the best and sometimes not the best. You have to work through each situation individually and plan for hope and for a great outcome. If you remove your ego from the equation and look people in the eye, it changes how you might respond, and your outcomes are generally better.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Plan well. Be flexible- pivot when you need to. Be well-funded.
