One of the biggest challenges that come with being a business owner is strategic execution towards building capital to profitably scale up, month over month, year-over-year, especially considering the marketplace and economic trends.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Be intentional and strategic in your efforts to:

  1. Seek out and secure mentors with a proven track record of sustainable success to support you along your journey.
  2. Seek out a board advisor and business advisor with subject matter expertise in a revenue growth strategy to support you in keeping your eye on the sustainable revenue-making prize.
  3. Take ownership of your professional development.
Take classes, attend workshops, and seek out thought leaders to support your continuing education and development as a business owner. Your business acumen has to grow as your business grows. This helps to proactively prepare for challenges and avoid pitfalls.
