What's your business, and who are your customers?
Doc Clik offers a sophisticated solution that streamlines the lives of both healthcare practitioners and patients. With the ability to easily search for practitioners who offer specific services and are geographically convenient, patients can effortlessly book appointments online. Clinics, in exchange for a monthly subscription, benefit from the reduced administrative stress, heightened productivity, and amplified practitioner visibility that Doc Clik provides.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Romeo Antoun, a self-employed dentist and co-founder of Docclik.com. I embarked on this journey when I realized the difficulty patients face in finding the right healthcare professional swiftly. It's not about a mere Google search but fulfilling the patients' specific requests and language needs. In addition, Doc Clik helps reduce clinic staff's stress by automating repetitive tasks and providing online booking accessibility 24/7. Every morning, I remind myself that life is too precious to be wasted on unproductive searches and endless phone calls. We need to find a smarter way to live, and I'm on a mission to make that happen.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Every day is a win for me. Of course, some days are tough; some are chill. But if I can get just one person to believe in my vision, that's a major success in my book.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the most challenging aspects is when you're new to a role and suddenly find yourself juggling multiple responsibilities. You have to be able to handle the stress and pressure that comes with it.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Achieving success requires problem-solving skills (think 'sell me this pen' from the Wolf of Wall Street). Time management is key. Focus on making the right decisions rather than many and accept that not everyone will be pleased.
