What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a Psychic Medium and Spiritual Teacher. Primarily working with those looking to develop their intuitive connection and abilities. I also do a lot of self-empowerment work as well.
Tell us about yourself
I first got started after a kundalini awakening I had at age 25. This awakening brought clarity to my life purpose and those whom I was meant to serve. I truly love doing what I do every day. The connections and activating experiences I get to witness with my clients have fills my soul and my purpose everyday. I really couldn't ask for anything more in this life!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
This is such a great question! My biggest accomplishment is creating a course that gives people a step-by-step guide back to their truest selves and connection with their higher power. It is truly deep work that takes place and can be hard to put into the structure. My Intuition Development Course truly walks you on the journey, and I couldn't be more proud to be the holder of this course.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Boundaries, for sure. A lot of people try to take advantage of small business owners; unfortunately, having no idea what a labor of love is really happening in the background. Making sure to uphold the worth and sacredness of my work regardless of others' opinions.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Make sure it's something you absolutely love and have no problem pouring all of yourself into every day, regardless of the momentum you may see in the beginning.
- Resilience - know that every "mistake" you make is actually helping you develop as a business owner.
- Invest in your business; continuously pouring back into your business will help propel you forward much faster. Just like a relationship with a partner, if you are giving back your bare minimum, then you won't receive much from that person... your business works the same way.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Being your own business owner is a gift in itself but also one of the most challenging things you could ever do. Don't give up when the going gets rough; it's a sure sign your getting close to the rainbow after the rain!
