Tell us about yourself

I've always been passionate about health and nutrition and am motivated simply by helping people feel better. I'm a doctor of clinical nutrition, board-certified in cancer nutrition, and before Dietitian Doc, I worked in hospitals and clinics for many years. Dietitian Doc provides a service where people affected by cancer can find legit help in the online community.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The road as a solopreneur can be hard, and learning the ropes to make my vision into a tangible business is something I am very proud of.
Being able to help people with their cancer nutrition in the online sphere is something I felt was missing, and we're able to fill that gap with Dietitian Doc.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

You have to wear many hats, and there are always new challenges, which can get lonely. So it's going to be easier if you can find a community to support you that's in your niche.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Figure out your niche and create ownership around it.
  2. Find community support or a mentor and treasure that support.
  3. Be you, be original, and people will appreciate you.
