What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a healing facilitator. I work with subtle energy to help resolve energetic imbalances that are stored both in the body and in the magnetic field that surrounds the body. I am certified in multiple healing modalities. What I specialize in is Biofield Tuning. Biofield Tuning is a unique protocol that works like sonar. The coherent sound produced by tuning forks is used to help locate and resolve incoherent tension that is stored in the magnetic field as a result of difficult life experiences.
My clients are those looking for a holistic approach to wellness. Tune-ups can be done as a regular practice to help people feel balanced and at peace. However, I specialize in working with clients working through deep emotional wounds such as childhood sexual abuse, anxiety, anger issues, fibromyalgia, depression, or PTSD.
Tell us about yourself
Before I found this work, I had the experience of being on the other side of someone I love who has suffered through very profound emotional pain. It was a feeling of being totally and utterly helpless. One day I stumbled upon a video about healing with tuning forks and was drawn to this work in a way that was very magnetic. It was a tangible energy pull that I have experienced a few times in my life. I tell clients that this work chose me.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishments happen with each and every client. To me, what I am working with is the subtle energy of someone's suffering. To help alleviate the weight of someone's emotional pain is no small thing. To me, the work that I do is sacred.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
There have been times when prospective clients have come to me and not been able to understand the concept of what I do. We haven't been enculturated to understand the electrical nature of our bodies. For example, one of the things I am able to accomplish with sound healing is the ability to recalibrate the rhythm of someone's adrenals. To have someone tell me that they suffer from panic attacks and have them decline my services because they don't understand what I do is hard for me because my first instinct is always to want to help someone.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Anyone in the holistic healing field holds a responsibility to this community. Many people approach us with varying levels of understanding, some with outright disbelief. It is important to hold a high level of integrity to not tarnish the validity of what alternative therapies offer.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I remember when I first started seeing clients. I was so worried about carrying out the Biofield Tuning protocol perfectly. One day I was hit with a very profound realization. I am working with the energy of someone's pain, and our pain just wants to be validated. It wants to be seen and heard and witnessed with compassion. What is so profoundly beautiful about the Biofield Tuning protocol is that it allows us an opportunity to go back to the source of someone's wounding and provide the emotional first aid that someone never received. It allows us a chance to really listen to a hurt that has been waiting to be validated. I am so grateful for whatever circumstances led me to where I am now and for the chance to help someone transform a painful story.
