What's your business, and who are your customers?
Devoted Yogi is a training studio dedicated to devotional and embodiment-based yoga instruction. Our lineage is both Vedic and of the wild woman tradition, rooted in body-based wisdom. I lead and collaborate on 200hr /300hr YTT courses with some weekly classes and workshops.
Tell us about yourself
I am a devotee of life and the divine mother as represented in all women. I often serve in-depth coaching courses for women and men who love them.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My recent 300 Hr Yoga Training comprised of personal journey work, asana, philosophy, and embodied leadership skills.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Consistency as a mother - entrepreneur.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Let your purpose trump your pain. It’s not easy running up against the roadblocks of others' opinions, risk-taking, and self-care that business ownership asks us to confront.
- Listen - slow down and come out of the FOMO and scarcity that business is so wrought with.
- Finally, find people and friendships that can bring positivity and integrity into your experience.
