What's your background and motivation to grow as a solopreneur?

I am a former educationist from Delhi University with 22 years of working experience and a Ph.D. in Semiconductors. Higher education is my core field. Covid 19 created a ripple among a whole set of people, industries, and institutions. Then we started webinars and student engaging online activities to spread hope and inspiration along with intellectual discussions on ways to survive. We published 1st edition of the magazine in July 2020 with an immense response in form of readership from more than 70 nations and participation in our online events from 12 countries. Education and be able to pass on some e-learning tips to a learner brings joy within as this is high time to give back to society and humanity.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Global recognition is achieved with hard work and persistent efforts.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a solopreneur?

Finance arrangements and to work on a bootstrapped budget.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run or grow a small business today?

  1. Learn and upskill to the latest trends.
  2. Proper market research and development of innovative products/services.
  3. Don't go for shortcuts but intensive marketing to stand out among millions.

What are some of the things you put in place to maintain a healthy work/life balance?

Keep a disciplined work timeline and do not expect staff to work beyond that. Personal space recharges one for the next day's more efficient work and thus keeping a healthy work-life balance. Some policies like anti workplace bullying, sick leaves, counseling, and an extra ear to listen to them out.
